Whitefield is the location of International Software Technology Park, Bangalore. Naturally there are plenty of Short Term an accommodation places available in these areas. If you dont want to have to see ITPL area and if you are not a Sai Baba Devotee, then there is not much to see in the Whitefield area. It is a concrete jungle. Please also note that Satya Sai Baba spend most of the year in Puttaparthi and in Kodaikkanal Ashram. Except in Summer, it is very unlikely you can get his 'Darshan' at Whitefield Ashram.

4. Ulsoor, Whitefield, ITPL...

How can I visit all important places in M.G. Road area in one day? If you want to enjoy the night life on M.G. Road area, arrange your trip in such a way that you are inside Museum buildings (c) when it is too hot outside. Start from High Court (g), Vidhana Soudha (f) and Public Library (i) then visit Museum (c) , Art Gallery (b) Technological Museum (d) etc. If you have time, take an Auto or Taxi to visit Bangalore Palace (k) on the same day and can also shop in the Shivaji Nagar Russel Market Market and Commercial Street. (It is recommended to visit Bangalore Palace, Shivaji Nagar Russel Market area, Commercial Street and Planetorium another day) Then move on to Visit Planetorium (j) between 3 pm and 4 pm and come back to Cubbon Park (a) area, visit Acquarium (e) spend the evening in the Childrens park (h). Walk down to shop and dine in one of those M.G. Road - Brigade Road Restaurants. Shopping malls like Bangalore Central, Garuda Mall etc are located in and around the M.G Road Area.

• aa) Ulsoor Lake - Ulsoor Lake is situated on the northeastern fringe of the city center, not very far from M. G. Road. Spread over an area of approximately 1.5 square kilometers, the Ulsoor lake of Bangalore is dotted with islands. One can hire a pedal boat or any other type of boat and do boating in the Ulsoor Lake. Ulsoor is the English name of Halasur (Halasu = jackfruit, but you cant see any jack fruit tree here now a days.) There is a swimming pool where men and women can pay and use the Swimming pool at sepearate timings.
  
  
• ab) Gurudwara of Bangalore - The Gurdwara of Bangalore is located near the Ulsoor lake.



• ac) Someswara Temple - This is an ancient Chola Temple dedicated to Someswara. Later this Someswara Temple of Ulsoor, Bangalore was rennovated.



• ad) Kemp Fort and Sitting Siva Statue - Located on the Old Airport Road. Kempfort is now Total Mall.



• ae) White Field - International Software Technology Park - ITPL is located in the White Field area.
  Satya Sai Baba Hospital is located in White Field.
  Sai Baba Ashram is located in Kadugodi near White Field.



• af)Hebbal Lake Park and Nagavara Park - These are two lake side parks where you can spend some time and relax.
